We created the Shelter Surprise to give back to the shelters and rescues that are tirelessly working to save pets and help them find loving, forever homes.

How does it work?

• Nominate your favorite animal shelter or rescue by Oct. 10.
• MedVet will select 10 finalists.
• Visit us again between Oct. 24-Nov. 4 and vote as often as you like for one of the finalists to win.

The winning organizations will receive:

• 1^st prize - $2,000
• 2^nd prize - $1,250
• 3^rd prize - $500

The winners will be announced during National Animal Shelter and Rescue Appreciation Week which takes place Nov. 7-14.
